A leading industrial company in Mexico is seeking a Treasury Specialist. In this role, you will execute treasury processes, prepare monthly account reconciliations, and ensure accurate recording of bank transactions. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, fluency in English and Spanish, and 3 years of experience in banking or treasury. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement after 90 days.

Formación

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish.

Treasury Specialist

Due to rapid growth and acquisition activity, The Gund Company has an excellent career opportunity for a Treasury Specialist in our Mexico office. The treasury specialist is a key member of the accounting team reporting directly to the accounting manager with dotted line support to corporate. The treasury specialist provides financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate recording of bank transactions.

Work Schedule:
Hybrid after 90 days of employment (2 days a week)

Summary Of Essential Job Functions
  • Execute treasury processes to support the business
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations as requested
  • Research and reconcile all discrepancies
  • Assist in downloading and submitting bank statements and reporting cash balances daily
  • Ensure cash application is completed daily and applied based on customer remittances
  • Record bank adjustments and clear payments in cashbook
  • Assist with preparation of treasury for year-end audit
  • Support accounting manager with special projects and workflow process improvements
Qualifications And Competencies
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and stay organized
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team player and have ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Accounting or related; Public Accounting, strongly preferred
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • 3 year's experience working in banking or treasury role

Work Environment

The work environment is typical of most office environments; occasionally, the position will be required to be on the manufacturing floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Role is allowed to apply for a hybrid work arrangement, based on high performance, to work from home 2 days a week.
