Formación

The Technical Services & Business Development (TSBD) Representative for LATAM North plays a key role in supporting allnex’s operations across diverse market segments, including Packaging & Consumer Goods, Mobility & Transportation, and Construction & Infrastructure. This position is responsible for representing allnex’s liquid resin and crosslinking technologies, acting as a technical ambassador and strategic partner to customers, key accounts, and internal teams. By combining deep technical expertise with a strong business development mindset, the TSBD representative will drive innovation, deliver tailored solutions, and foster long-term relationships that contribute to the growth and success of allnex in the region.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment on product performance and innovation.
  • Deliver hands-on support and product recommendations across market segments, resolving performance issues with customers and distributors.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and R&D to address customer needs, support product launches, and drive new product development.
  • Lead training sessions, workshops, and customer visits to demonstrate product benefits and application techniques.
  • Develop tailored solutions through joint lab work with internal teams, distributors, and customer labs.
  • Investigate technical claims, replicate issues, and validate corrective actions under real-world conditions.
  • Benchmark allnex products against competitors, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and market opportunities.
  • Prepare clear and concise technical reports and insights to support strategic decisions and customer engagement.
Required skills and experience
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the chemical industry in coatings, resins, or related technologies.
  • Preferred background in:
  • Automotive and industrial applications
  • Alkyds, acrylics, polyesters, epoxies
  • Waterborne and solventborne systems
  • Amino and phenolic crosslinking technologies
  • Commercial experience is a strong plus.
  • Solid technical acumen with expertise in formulation and application techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Fluency in technical English and Spanish is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70%, including visits to allnex laboratories across the AMER region.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A strong educational background in chemistry is essential.
