Job Description

To support this mission, Syngenta’s Sales Team is seeking a Technical Sales Representative in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Accountabilities

• Execute impactful daily customer visits, actively identifying and transforming challenges into growth opportunities.
• Build lasting relationships with customers based on trust, reliability, and consistent value delivery.
• Drive technical excellence through continuous learning of new growing techniques and technologies.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and persistent execution.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive grower databases within assigned territories.
• Partner with Product Specialists and Market Segments teams to:
  • Design and implement demonstration trials.
  • Evaluate variety performance.
  • Develop effective commercial positioning strategies.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive follow-up and support.
• Stay ahead of market trends and evolving grower needs.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field.
• Experience in technical sales or greenhouse production.
• Experience and/or knowledge of vegetable seeds for greenhouse cultivation (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers).
• Experience and/or knowledge about high-tech greenhouse operations.
• Must reside in Irapuato, Guanajuato (Mandatory).
• Willingness to travel 70-80% of working time.
• Intermediate English.
• Strong learning orientation and adaptability.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Natural ability to build relationships.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Proactivity and focus on results.
