Purpose Statement

Purpose Statement: The Manager of Talent Acquisition is a highly visible role accountable for leading a country or regional Talent Acquisition team. This individual will provide leadership to a recruiting team consisting of direct reports and will oversee the development, implementation and delivery of world class Talent Acquisition services. Successful individuals will partner with business leaders, hiring managers and HR professionals to establish and drive overall talent acquisition strategies.

Key Job Accountabilities
  • Establish and Implement a Talent Acquisition Strategy: Work with business leaders to understand their needs then to define and manage the strategic recruiting initiatives for all regional sites to meet these goals. A Manager of TA should also provide creative solutions and plan for future talent needs utilizing both external and internal talent. As a strategic leader, there is an expectation to stay on top of talent trends and to bringing forward new recommendations, or technology, while managing costs.
  • Sourcing and Branding Excellence: Design, implement, and execute proactive and creative sourcing strategies to generate active and passive candidate pipelines that align with our Plexus culture and D&I efforts regionally. In addition, responsible for measuring the sourcing effectiveness. Best practices may include university, social, job boards, hiring events, technology, and more. This role is also expected to build upon the regional employment brand by promoting our key differentiators to increase attraction, drive quality hires, and increase retention.
  • Establish Hiring Excellence: Demonstrate ownership of the team’s full cycle recruitment processes and performance by being a Talent advisor. This also includes the development and utilization of metrics to ensure clear understanding of recruitment goals and to drive continuous improvements.
  • Standardization: Responsible for ensuring consistent TA operations and exceptional customer service. A Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition is expected to be a contributing member to the global Talent Acquisition leadership team by raising awareness to local challenges, implementing best practices, and sharing ideas with other regions. A Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition's local solutions are expected to be shared with the intent to scale globally. There will be some local differences.
  • Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
Education/Experience Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the related field, or a Master’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience. May require previous supervisory experience.

Physical Requirements
  • Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
Travel Requirements
  • Less than 40%
