A leading lifestyle brand company in Tecate, Baja California is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee operations, manage purchasing and inventory, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in supply chain management, strong negotiation skills, and be bilingual in Spanish and English. This full-time, on-site role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to operational excellence.

Formación

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain or logistics management.

  • Strong understanding of Mexican customs and trade compliance.

About the Job

The Supply Chain Manager oversees all aspects of the supply chain operations for our Tecate manufacturing facility, including purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and import/export activities. This role ensures a seamless material flow from suppliers to production and from production to customers, supporting Nysonian’s commitment to operational excellence, compliance, and on-time delivery.

What You’ll Do
Purchasing & Procurement
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw materials, components, and packaging.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
Inventory & Warehouse Management
  • Oversee all inventory control activities to maintain accuracy and optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure synchronization between production demand and material availability.
  • Supervise warehouse operations to guarantee efficient material handling, storage, and dispatch.
  • Implement best practices for inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and ERP system utilization.
Import & Export / Logistics Operations
  • Manage and monitor cross-border import/export processes and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Mexican customs and maquiladora regulations.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments with freight forwarders and brokers.
  • Optimize logistics routes, carriers, and freight costs to improve delivery performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Production, Planning, Quality, and Finance to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
  • Participate in product launch planning and capacity analysis.
  • Support procurement and logistics for corporate and export projects.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
  • Track and report KPIs such as delivery performance, supplier reliability, and cost savings.
  • Lead cost reduction and process optimization initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of supply chain metrics and forecasts.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or purchasing management within the manufacturing or maquiladora industry.
  • Proven experience managing import/export operations and supplier negotiations.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills for reporting and forecasting.
  • Bilingual (Spanish / English) – required for corporate and supplier communication.
  • Valid U.S. tourist visa – required for travel to suppliers, logistics partners, and corporate meetings.
  • Strong understanding of Mexican customs and trade compliance regulations.

Schedule & Work Environment
  • Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday
  • Overtime or travel may be required based on operational needs
  • On-site role at the Tecate, Baja California facility
