A growing start-up in Ciudad de México is seeking a detail-oriented team member for regulatory compliance within the short-term rental sector. Responsibilities include researching rental requirements, liaising with local offices, and managing permit applications. Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong communication skills in English, and a resourceful attitude. The role offers a gross salary of $16,500 MXN monthly along with several additional perks.

Formación

• 1+ years' experience in a similar field.
• Experience with short term rental or real estate preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.

About the Role:

A high-energy team member with attention to detail who is excited to take on a newer role at a budding start-up. This role will be one of the first points of contact for STR regulatory research and will manage any regulatory compliance items from beginning to end to ensure we’re compliant with jurisdictional requirements.

What you will do:

• Rental requirements research in each jurisdiction we enter
• Call city and county offices when required to gain additional information
• Liaison with the internal team to get the information required for the applications
• File business license and short term rental permit applications on behalf of the company
• Follow-up with the applications regularly to keep them moving along
• Ensure our listings are showing the proper minimum length of stay

What You Need:

• 1+ years' experience desired
• Short term rental or real estate experience preferred
• Resourcefulness: this is a role where the requirements are different in each jurisdiction, so there will be a lot of “figuring out” to do!
• Excellent verbal and written English
