Position Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Data Analyst with deep expertise in Power BI and SQL to join our multi‑disciplinary team. You’ll work directly with clients to turn raw data into clear insights, intuitive dashboards, and high‑quality reports that drive decision‑making. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, communicates clearly, and thrives in a fast‑paced consulting environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements for reports and dashboards.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Write optimized SQL queries to extract, cleanse, and transform data from various source systems.
  • Define and implement data validation, accuracy, and quality checks.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
  • Participate in Agile sprints and contribute to the continuous delivery of data solutions.
  • Document data models, business logic, and visualization strategies.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (e.g., joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning).
  • Proven experience building advanced dashboards and reports in Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with DAX and Power Query (M) in Power BI.
  • Hands‑on experience with data pipeline tools and APIs.
  • Background in financial services, particularly in loan processing, risk, or compliance reporting.
  • Exposure to Python, R, or other scripting languages for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with additional BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a plus.

Salary

USD $4583 - $6041.67 (monthly salary range)
