The Role

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test who will design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for enterprise applications and platforms. This role focuses on building scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing, ensuring high-quality delivery for complex systems including cloud-based and microservices architectures.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust automated test cases.
• Design and implement automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, API, and Desktop applications with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, and REST API testing tools.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) to enable continuous testing.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze failures, and provide actionable insights for defect resolution.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and provide accurate testing effort estimates.
• Drive automation best practices and mentor junior engineers to improve automation maturity across teams.

What You’ll Bring

Must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of experience in QA automation or SDET roles.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming (Java or .NET).
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, and API testing frameworks.
• 4-6 years of experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks with high scalability and performance.
• 4-6 years of experience implementing automation in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux environments.
• Solid understanding of Agile SDLC, testing strategies, and defect management processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for automation and integration issues.

Nice to have:

• Experience with mobile automation for iOS and Android platforms.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and backend/API testing.
• Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
• Exposure to performance testing and integration with automation workflows.
