The Role:

Technical expertise in a similar position is essential for success in this role. The Site ReliabilityEngineer will collaborate with the infrastructure team, DBAs, DevOps, and TechOps. Tools usedinclude Zabbix, Site 24x7, Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Prometheus to monitor infrastructure healthand performance. The individual in this position must be available to respond promptly to incidentsand escalations as required during the shift.

Responsibilities include daily monitoring ofinfrastructure and company services and continuous improvement of the monitoring function.

Main Functions:

• Monitor and support Azure cloud and on-premises environments, react promptly to incidents.
• Continuously improve monitoring functions within the company.
• Generate SLA reports and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
• Provide infrastructure optimization to enhance stability and performance.
• Collaborate closely Infrastructure team, DBAs, DevOps, TechOps teams to improve overall system reliability.

Technical Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in a related position.
• 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Azure platform and services is a plus.
• Experience in performance troubleshooting to identify and resolve system bottlenecks and performance issues.
• Experience with various cloud components such as AKS, Azure Front Door, Application Gateway, NSG, Azure Firewall, Service Bus, VPN Gateway, and others.
• Deep understanding of server operating systems, including Windows Server 2022 and Linux.
• Proficiency in using monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Azure Monitor, Site 24x7, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Familiarity with query languages like Kusto Query Language (KQL) and automation tools like Logic Apps.
• Experience with MS SQL and Azure SQL.
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible, DSC and others.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly and effectively to incidents.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
