A leading cloud services provider in Mexico is seeking a qualified engineer to join their Database cloud service team. You will solve complex problems related to cloud service infrastructure and design automation to enhance performance and availability. A strong background in Java and experience in high-scale distributed systems is essential. This role demands analytical skills and a proactive problem-solving approach, offering an exciting opportunity in cloud services development.

Formación

• At least a BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience with production environment at high scale.
• Very strong analytical skills to identify problems.
• Systematic problem solving approach and sense of ownership.
• Good understanding of operating large scale distributed systems.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in design and operation of Distributed Database cloud service features.
• Design and develop automation frameworks.
• Participate in research and development of Oracle Database Cloud service.
• Define monitoring infrastructure criteria.
• Solve complex problems and build automation.
• Participate in software performance analysis.

Conocimientos

BS degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience in high scale production environments

Strong analytical skills

Problem solving approach with ownership

Understanding of large scale distributed systems

Solid software development skills using Java

Troubleshooting existing Java code

Good communication skills

Experience with Linux OS systems

Experience with virtualized systems
