FULLSTACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER

SENIOR

Mexico City

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) with a strong focus on fullstack development to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust applications that support our sales operations and enhance our customer-facing platforms. While experience with the Salesforce platform is a plus, a proven track record in fullstack development with expertise in modern web technologies is paramount. You will be expected to lead by example, mentor junior engineers, and contribute significantly to architectural decisions and best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and secure fullstack applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineering teams to define requirements, scope projects, and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code across the entire stack, including front-end, back-end, and database layers.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our architectural patterns, tools, and processes.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and frameworks.
  • Work with the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Agentforce and integrations, if applicable to team projects.
Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in software development, with at least 4 years in a fullstack role.
  • Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., LWC, React, Angular, Vue.js) and associated technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Strong expertise in back-end development with languages such as Java (Spring Boot), Python (Django), Node.js)
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, GraphQL).
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (Heroku, AWS, GCP).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with the Salesforce platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Agentforce, Lightning Components, SOQL/SOSL).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce APIs and integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with Slack APIs and integration patterns.
  • Experience in a leadership or mentorship role.
