Our Client

A leading U.S.-based life insurance company, backed by decades of trust and a commitment to innovation, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java + React) to join their Acquisition Team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an agile environment, working across backend and frontend systems to build scalable, high-performance applications that support customer acquisition and internal tools.

Job Summary

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll be at the core of developing and enhancing insurance application workflows, customer-facing components, and third-party data integrations. You'll lead technical initiatives, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure security and compliance standards are upheld. This is a hands‑on role requiring deep experience with Java and React, as well as CI/CD best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full‑stack solutions using Java (Spring Boot) and React.js
• Create and enhance automated build and deployment pipelines
• Write automated unit tests and participate in code reviews
• Translate business requirements into scalable tech solutions
• Troubleshoot, document, and optimize existing components
• Collaborate with QA, product, and marketing teams
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
• Participate in out‑of‑hours support as needed

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, REST, SOAP, and Microservices
• Strong experience with React.js, Redux (or similar), JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Familiarity with build tools: Babel, Webpack, NPM
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong database knowledge (SQL, relational DBs)
• Familiar with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and planning skills
• Bonus: Experience with Tomcat, Hibernate, JQuery, Jest, Mockito
