Una empresa de fabricación industrial busca un Ingeniero de Ventas para identificar oportunidades en el mercado de Oil & Gas. El candidato ideal tiene una licenciatura en Ingeniería, al menos 3 años de experiencia, y competencias técnicas en equipos rotativos y normativas de PEMEX. Se ofrecerá soporte técnico a clientes y se espera que proporcione propuestas competitivas dentro de plazos establecidos.

Formación

  • Mínimo 3 años de experiencia en posiciones similares.
  • Certificaciones en hidráulica, materiales, sistemas de sellado.

Responsabilidades

  • Identificar oportunidades de venta en el territorio asignado.
  • Proporcionar soporte técnico a clientes del sector O&G.
  • Preparar propuestas cumpliendo requisitos técnicos y comerciales.

Conocimientos

Conocimiento de equipos rotativos
Inglés hablado y escrito (85%)
Conocimiento de normas y especificaciones de PEMEX

Educación

Ingeniero en Mecánica, Química, Eléctrica, Industrial o carreras afines

Resumen de Posición

Sales Engineer has to identify new opportunities for pump, parts and service mainly in the Oil & Gas Market with the Industrial Distributors to deliver quotations; to organize and define priorities in the work internally for preparation of proposals to meet technical and commercial requirements. In addition to follow up proposals status and visit customers and Distributors for comments and clarifications to ensure selling processes successfully.

Responsabilidades Esenciales

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To identify selling opportunities in the assigned territory permanently ahead of time.
  • To provide technical support for O&G customers. Focused on PEMEX.
  • To get in the short term “Master Agreement Contract” for Spares within PEMEX.
  • To prepare proposals mainly to O&G customers and some private companies for Aftermarket opportunities fulfill technical, commercial and legal requirements, taking in consideration to meet the bid-closing dates.
  • To track and follow up status of each proposal for General Industry House accounts and to get feedback to help us successfully conclude proposals in purchase orders.
  • To visit customers on weekly basis to increase face time substantially, address clarifications to our proposals, for technical and commercial concerns.
  • To require from operations technical support, delivery times and competitive multipliers, depending on industry and customer to deliver competitive proposals.
  • Actively participate in conferences, lectures and trainings performed by the company.
  • To participate in weekly sales meetings actively, providing specific information of active proposals and submitting all information related with proposal requirements in special all matters that requires attention from our management to win the orders.
  • To keep the information of the e-quote log updated, related to all the information for company proposals (bids).
  • To prepare the kickoff meeting with internal customer for new purchase orders.
  • To lead actively in warranty claims according to our internal policy.
  • To provide support to our credit department for collecting issues with our customers.
  • To comply with official regulations and company requirements for HSE program.
  • To perform such other functions assigned by the immediate supervisor, not covered in this job description.
Requisitos del Puesto

EDUCATION:

Engineer with bachelor in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial or related careers

CREDENTIALS OR CERTIFICATIONS: Hydraulics, Materials, Sealing Systems

EXPERIENCE: 3 years minimum

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Minimum experience in similar positions of three (3) years.
  • English written and spoken at least 85%
  • Knowledge related to rotative equipment, in special in centrifugal pumps for the application in the General Industry/Oil and Gas Market
  • To know PEMEX installations norms and specifications
