A global paper producer is seeking an experienced Independent Sales Manager to lead growth in the Specialty Paper division across North and South America. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of B2B sales experience, a strong commercial network, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams. This role requires fluency in English and frequent travel within the region.

Formación

Overview

Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) is one of the world’s largest integrated pulp and paper producers, serving over 150 countries. We are expanding our Specialty Paper division and seeking an experienced, self-employed Sales Manager to lead growth across North and South America.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new business and grow market share for APP’s Specialty Paper products.
  • Manage commercial pipelines for Coated One Side, Thermal, Brief Card, Kraft, Sketch, Grease Proof, and Release Base Papers.
  • Execute sales strategies, close deals, and coordinate with our manufacturing teams in Asia.
  • Operate independently while collaborating with global stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in the Specialty Paper sector.
  • Strong commercial network across the Americas.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish/Portuguese a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-managed, and confident working across time zones.
  • Proficient with CRM and digital sales tools.
  • Willing to travel frequently in-region.
Employment type and contractual details

This is an Independent Contractor opportunity, offered by a non-Mexican entity under a foreign commercial agreement. It is not an employment relationship under Mexican law and does not include IMSS, severance, or employee benefits. Contractors are responsible for their own legal and tax compliance in Mexico.
