A global technology company is seeking a Workplace Specialist to manage and optimize real estate data collection and dashboarding. You will lead cross-functional collaboration and ensure operational excellence across a global portfolio. Candidates must be within commutable distance to Nogales, Mexico, and have a BS degree with 5+ years' experience in related fields. Strong analytical and collaboration skills are essential.

A Day in Your Life at MKS

As a Workplace Specialist on the Operations (WPO) Real Estate team you will help support workplace strategy for a global portfolio consisting of 6 million square feet across 148 sites in 35 counties. This role will lead the implementation, management, and optimization of Real Estate data collection and dashboarding platform and drive the use of workplace technology and data to support operational excellence across our global real estate portfolio. Reporting to the Global Director of Real Estate, this position will also lead cross-functional collaboration initiatives and support strategic reporting and analytics to align with business goals.

This position will be primarily remote; however, the ideal candidate will be within a commutable distance to our Nogales, MX facility.

You Make an Impact By:
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide insights into real estate performance, space utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct and lead the annual Real Estate GAP review process with site stakeholders and Regional Real Estate Managers to identify and update missing or outdated site information, ensuring accurate data is reflected in the real estate database and dashboards.
  • Collect and manage CAD and as-built drawings, with Facilities for new and updated sites to support accurate space planning and documentation.
  • Manage the data on the RE Insights page; track, organize, and maintain real estate policies and procedures, including version control and documentation management.
  • Support the creation of real estate presentations including translating portfolio data into clear, visually compelling graphs and reports.
  • Collaborate with local and regional teams to collect global site financial data, update the lease administration database, and summarize findings in monthly reports.
  • Drive standardization and best practices across the WPO organization to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Facilitate the WPO “Community of Practice” forum to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across Real Estate, Facilities, and other operations teams.
  • Support the integration of workplace technologies to enhance data-driven decision‑making at the portfolio, facility, and site levels.
  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to align workplace strategies with business objectives.
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of the CAFM platform to manage space utilization and track occupancy for data‑driven decisions on alignment with business and operational needs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Real Estate and Facilities (WPO) and between internal stakeholders and external vendors for CAFM‑related initiatives.
  • Support sustainability and EHS initiatives through data analytics and reporting.
  • Manage internal WPO knowledge platforms and ensure documentation is current and accessible.
Skills You Bring:
  • Must live within a commutable distance to Nogales, Mexico
  • BS Degree in related field with 5+ years of experience in related areas; workplace strategy, corporate real estate, construction project management, facilities management etc.
  • Proven experience implementing and managing CAFM or IWMS platforms (e.g., Archibus, FM:Systems, Planon).
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with a detail‑oriented focus.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Highly skilled in PowerPoint and Excel with strong presentation skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships across functions and regions.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and driving organizational change.
