Career Opportunities: Quality Assurance Manager, Footwear - ROW (7552)

The Quality Assurance Manager, Footwear – ROW supports the Supply Chain & Quality Manager in maintaining the quality management system, upholding quality standards in footwear manufacturing, establishing best manufacturing processes, and seeking continuous improvement actions with suppliers. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain & Quality Assurance.

You’ll Make a Difference By

Responsibilities include 80% Quality Assurance and 20% Quality Control:

• Focus on issue detection, solution, and prevention in footwear manufacturing
• Participate in product tear-down meetings to voice production concerns and recommend solutions
• Engage with suppliers throughout product creation, from material inspection to final inspection
• Document and report quality control findings regularly to stakeholders
• Take on roles as product developer or engineer when needed
• Drive improvement initiatives such as automation and best practices
• Monitor and improve regional quality management systems to meet or exceed company goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
• Develop and lead a regional quality team to ensure high standards and consistent supplier performance
• Coordinate with regional and international quality managers on product issues from customer feedback
• Perform other duties as assigned

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
• 10+ years in the footwear industry, with at least 5 years in Quality Assurance Management
• Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, and Pivot 88 preferred
• Experience with Goodyear welt and cement construction preferred
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, results-driven, with a mindset for continuous improvement
• Adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
