Formación

  • 3–5 years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
  • Hands-on expertise with Selenium, Cypress, or similar test automation frameworks.
  • Experience testing APIs using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and Agile methodology.
  • Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Java, or Python.

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a QA Engineer in Latin America.

In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality software by designing, executing, and maintaining both manual and automated tests across UI, APIs, and backend systems. Working within agile, sprint-based teams, you will collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional squads to identify issues early, optimize testing processes, and increase release confidence. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to product stability, enhance user experience, and implement best-in-class QA practices. You will leverage modern automation frameworks, participate in CI/CD workflows, and help evolve internal QA standards while working in a fully remote environment.

Accountabilities
  • Participate actively in sprint planning, daily standups, and sprint reviews to align QA efforts with development workflows.
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for UI, API, and backend systems.
  • Collaborate with developers to detect and resolve bugs early in the development cycle.
  • Maintain and improve test scripts for regression, integration, and smoke testing.
  • Implement automated testing within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
  • Use testing frameworks and tools including Selenium, Cypress, Postman, and RestAssured.
  • Document test results, report defects, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed.
  • Stay current with QA best practices and emerging testing tools to continuously improve processes.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
  • Hands‑on expertise with Selenium, Cypress, or similar test automation frameworks.
