Descripción del empleo

As a Project Management Coordinator I, you will support project management, project management coordination, engineering and unit management with document control and project support functions. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a basic understanding of project management methodologies

Your responsibilities
  • Provide document control support for project management, engineering, unit management, and new product development.

  • Monitor incoming requests submitted to Document Control via email, create tasks, and process them accordingly. Collaborate with other Project Management Coordinators to ensure timely completion of all requests.

  • Create and maintain folder structure for each unit project according to departmental standards.

  • Prepare a variety of drawings, including general arrangements, fabrication drawings, parts drawings and parts lists, and submit to internal and external customers. This may involve certifying them for approval, or final submissions as required. All drawings must be linked in the project life management system (PLM).

  • Create Installation, Operation and Maintenance manuals (IOM) for unit management and project management, as requested.

  • Maintain engineering, document control and unit management SharePoint sites for tasks assigned.

  • Process returned requests from regional office and customers by directing to appropriate project manager or coordinator or directing to Unit Management SharePoint site for processing.

  • Complete assigned tasks via SharePoint tasking site and ensure tasks are finalized upon completion.

  • Create part numbers as assigned.

  • Provide support to Project Management Coordinators II and III as needed.

What you bring
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to maintain high volume of orders and coordinate the deliverables timely and accurately.

  • Understanding of how to use project management software, time-tracking tools, and document
    Management systems are a plus.

  • MS office (Outlook 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat), SharePoint, Smarteam, ERP systems (Aurora/Enovia/MS D365). Basic work in CAD (AutoCAD / Catia)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Alternatively, Associate’s degree with relevant experience in project coordination or administration may be considered.

  • Certifications in project management (e.g., Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)) or proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello) are a plus but not required.
