A leading engineering firm in Mexico is seeking a Project Engineer to manage medium to large VAVE engineering projects aimed at cost savings between $50 and $250 million. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in project management, strong leadership abilities, and effective communication skills in English. This role involves overseeing project teams, maintaining records of key milestones, and reporting to stakeholders.

Under broad supervision, responsible for all phases and implementation of medium to large VAVE engineering projects between $50 and $250 million of cost savings. Manages the project team and maintain records of key project milestones, key decisions needed, roadblocks, risks and assessment for resources needed. Periodical communication to stake holders and Leadership by project planning and dashboard creation. Role typically requires between 3 and 5 years of experience.

Under broad supervision, responsible for evaluation, development, execution and implementation of medium to large engineering VAVE projects between $50 and $250 million of cost savings. Manages the project team and maintain records of key project milestones, key decisions needed, roadblocks, risks and assessment for resources needed. Periodical communication to stake holders and Leadership by project planning and dashboard creation. Role typically requires between 3 and 5 years of experience.

This project engineer must demonstrate strong leadership capacities, project management skills, time and task management, project planning skills (gantt graphics creation), fluid English and verbal skills communication.

General engineering skills desirable, such as :

• A3 form for problem solving methodology,
• 8D support
• Drawing interpretations
• Drive a DRBFM (Design Review by Failure Mode) & DVP (Design Validation Plan) meeting
• DFA (Design for Assembly) / DFM (Manufacture) CAD Models (Sub Assy & FGs)
• Driving Engineering Changes (ECR / ECN)
• Food Safety knowledge (NSF Requirements & design Impacts)
• Electrical Safety knowledge (UL / CE Requirements & design impacts)
• Sheet Metal clearing design and tolerances
• Injection Molding design and tooling
