A leading automotive manufacturer in Mexico is seeking a Production Supervisor to ensure production plan compliance and safety enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a college degree, advanced English proficiency, and at least 3 years of experience in machining or assembly. Responsibilities include managing teams, training personnel, and participating in continuous improvement projects.

Formación

• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency required.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience is essential.
• Background in machining or assembly is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure production plan adherence and analyze issues with support departments.
• Lead the team to improve safety and enforce safety procedures.
• Analyze quality KPIs and guide team leaders on issues.
• Manage personnel allocation and train team members.
• Participate in kaizen projects to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the production plan is met, analyzes issues with support departments, drives and implements continuous improvement activities and sustainability of solutions inside the line.
• Ensure a safe workplace, lead the Team to improve Safety in the area and enforce the use of mandated Safety tools and procedures.
• Understand losses during the Shift, through SFM board in the daily meeting and improve line performance.
• Proactively analyzes quality KPIs related to the line, prioritizes quality issues, repairs and scrap, and properly guides Team Leaders.
• Ensure the right allocation of the people on the line, manages absenteeism, trains and builds teams.
• Possess knowledge of the broader manufacturing organization and have the ability to mobilize support groups and resources to lead and assist in problem solving activities.
• Actively participate and lead kaizen project activities centered on Safety, Cost, Quality and Throughput improvements and waste reduction.
• AM calendar compliance
• SOP management
• Production overtime management
