Responsibilities (The Opportunity)

As a Procurement Associate Manager, you will oversee a spend of approximately $200MM USD, developing and executing procurement strategies for current and upcoming CAPEX projects. You’ll manage relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders while ensuring full compliance with PepsiCo’s policies and governance standards.

In this strategic role, you’ll be expected to influence key stakeholders, streamline the end‑to‑end acquisition process, and drive productivity in areas such as Installations, Machinery, Equipment, Control & Automation—all while contributing to our agility and transformation agenda.

Your Impact
  • Stakeholder Management & Strategy Development: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to align on internal strategies and identify productivity opportunities across procurement functions.
  • Supplier Innovation & Sourcing: Continuously scout for innovative suppliers and breakthrough technologies to drive cost‑effective and future‑ready solutions.
  • Project Pipeline & Productivity Initiatives: Lead the creation and evaluation of a robust productivity project pipeline in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
  • Cash Flow Optimization: Manage your team to ensure delivery of cash flow benefits (e.g., AOP, +90‑day payment terms).
  • Supplier Development: Enable and support the development of new global and local suppliers to ensure a resilient supply base.
  • Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Define, manage, and continuously improve SLAs for each procurement category.
  • People Leadership & Capability Building: Coach and develop your team to build a strong internal talent pipeline and foster a high‑performance culture.
  • Agility & Innovation: Lead and deploy initiatives aligned with the Agility Agenda to accelerate business transformation and elevate procurement impact across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, with a focus on procurement or sourcing roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong command of digital tools, including:
    • Spend management platforms
    • Data analytics tools
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with market intelligence platforms such as BEROE, RAINTEC, and SIRTUO.
  • Proven analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable strategies.
  • Demonstrated negotiation expertise, with a track record of delivering measurable value.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in strategic sourcing, including supplier evaluation, cost optimization, and contract management.
