PLANT CONTROLLER
Objective of the position:
To ensure that all accounting, financial, fiscal, and administrative activities are carried out in a timely manner by reporting information for decision-making purposes.
Experience
- 5 years or more in a similar position in the metalworking industry.
- Solid knowledge of the income statement (P&L), understanding how it relates to operations.
- Problem solving (methodology experience)
- Knowledge of general accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, inventories)
- IFRS and USGAAP.
- Investment projects.
- Standard cost.
- Knowledge of SAP (FI, CO, and MM modules).
- SOX Act.
Responsibilities
- Control company transactions.
- Analyze capital flow (investments, banks, liabilities, foreign suppliers).
- Control and supervise the department (costs, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting).
- Prepare financial indicator reports.
- Authorize expenses and assign accounts, Cost Centers & CAR (Spending Request).
- Audit scrap material.
- Review checks and transfers to domestic and foreign suppliers.
- Verify the accounting records of company operations.
- Control accounts receivable.
- Prepare the weekly forecast.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Prepare reports for the corporate office: Key Stats, EVA, Change Analysis, Forecast, TVM, CAPEX, Cash Flow, and manufacturing variations.
- Manage, project, generate strategy, and execute together with the Plant Manager for the management of AOP finances for the current months.
- Carry out reconciliation between companies.
