Job Description: The Opportunity

Are you passionate about hands‑on IT support and ready to make a real impact in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment? Hitachi Energy Transformers is looking for a proactive and customer‑focused OSS – IT Support Specialist to join our Business Solutions IT team in Reynosa, Mexico.

This day shift role (Monday–Friday 7:20 AM–4:56 PM) offers the chance to be the face of IT, solving real‑world tech challenges and ensuring smooth operations for our on‑site users.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Deliver ready‑to‑use computers and provide desk‑side support to users.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues requiring physical intervention.
• Guide users through self‑service tools and provide ad‑hoc training.
• Manage inventory and update asset records in CMDB.
• Coordinate logistics for device shipments and warranty cases.
• Support IT equipment in meeting rooms and collaboration areas.
• Host and assist third‑party technicians on‑site.
• Monitor computer rooms for optimal functionality and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your Background

• Formal education or apprenticeship in IT from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT support.
• Fluent in Spanish and English with strong communication skills.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, MS Office 365, Windows, iOS.
• Legal authorization to work in Mexico (no visa sponsorship available).
