We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team and be our first

Mexico marketing team member. The Marketing Manager will lead development of marketing strategy in collaboration with our Canadian head office to support Mexico’s overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership and accountability and will excel in both strategic planning as well as hands-on execution.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally in a sales-led environment in equipment manufacturing or a similar industry. They will be highly collaborative, building strong relationships across the organization, and possess strong project management and people skills.

This role requires strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Strategic Marketing Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop the annual marketing plan to support the Company's overall business objectives.

Own the strategy, planning, and execution for all marketing initiatives and campaigns.

Partner with sales to develop and oversee the execution of an overall communications and promotional calendar.

Partner with product management to launch new products in the market.

Partner with sales to develop a trade show and events strategy, oversee creation of sales and marketing collateral.

Monitor and identify market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor marketing

activities to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.

Digital Marketing and Website Responsibilities:

Support our digital marketing and website strategy with focus on content creation, lead generation and supporting our distributor network.

Lead all digital marketing activities in Mexico and LATM, including SEO / SEM, social media, and email campaigns.

Utilize Google Analytics to monitor traffic and conversions and suggest improvements.

Marketing Execution and Agency Management:

Oversee the creative development or adaptation for the Mexico market of all marketing materials and collateral, ensuring materials align with our brand guidelines, represent our brand, and resonate with our target audiences.

Brief, manage, and oversee our marketing agency’s execution of all projects including email, print, digital, events, and other marketing initiatives.

Coordinate and partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts, as necessary to execute on marketing and product launch activities.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of progressive marketing experience with a proven track record delivering results within a sales-led organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Fluent English
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred), CRM (Salesforce preferred), CMS (Kentico preferred), collaboration tools (SharePoint preferred), Google Analytics, and Google AdWords’.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, including the ability to manage internal communications, multiple deadlines, budgeting, timelines, diverse stakeholders and audiences.
  • Proven success collaborating cross-functionally in order to develop strategies and execute effective marketing.
  • Experience marketing in the manufacturing industry to dealers / distributors, end users, and other audiences.
  • Experience marketing complex products, and the ability to learn from and partner with engineers and other technical resources.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects concurrently, on time and within budget.
