A leading medical technology company is seeking a Manager Clinical Education in Mexico, responsible for external clinical education programs for the ortho channel. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in orthodontics, strong content production skills, and the ability to lead teams effectively. This position requires fluency in English and Spanish, with travel up to 25%. The role focuses on driving adoption of the Invisalign system in LATAM.

Formación

  • 6+ years of experience as orthodontist and/or ortho clinical education.
  • 4+ years of experience in content production environment, preferably in corporate education.
  • 4+ years direct management experience, leading and developing teams.

About this opportunity

As a Manager Clinical Education in Mexico & CALA Region, you will be responsible for external clinical education programs for the ortho channel, to drive adoption of the Invisalign system, for Align Technology in LATAM.

Responsibilities
  • Design and establish the creation and maintenance of clinical education pathway and engagement activities for new and existing customers.
  • Help to create and maintain clinical education resources and platforms for customers.
  • Work collaboratively with Ortho Professional Managers and Local Marketers to drive a cohesive approach to doctor engagement in treating patients with the Invisalign system and clinical education.
  • Identify and coach new clinical speakers to drive educational programs.
  • Responsible to deliver certain KPIs from conversion of new doctors to Invisalign, according with local plans.
  • Design and Contribute to LATAM Educational Strategy & implementation.
  • Mainly work with main stakeholders from sales team on educational activities for sales force in the assigned region / country.
  • Own strategy for constructing education delivery models for customers, both internal (sales team) and external (faculty, Speaker, and customers).
  • Work cross functionally with other business leaders to ensure internal and external education needs are met.
  • Create and roll out clinical education programs to drive confidence and skills of doctors.
  • Develop educational resources: copy writing, proofreading, agency briefing & development and new educational platforms – off & online.
  • Collaborate with LATAM Professional, Local Market & Global Clinical Education teams to drive doctor engagement activities.
  • Manage and maintain existing and new education platforms.
  • Lead the successful formation of various learning solutions to appropriate stakeholders for delivery to participants.
  • Manage and liaise with Invisalign International and national speakers.
  • Oversee development of content of clinical training and evidence resources.
  • Manage backend processes to support effective implementation of educational.
  • Support on clinical case studies, clinical presentations, publications and dissemination of new clinical research.
  • Build internal networks and drive effective collaboration with LATAM regional stakeholders – Sales, Clinical Advisors, Marketing.
  • Manage support needs for LATAM Markets and develop best practices for national and regional level.
  • Build clinical & competence knowledge to inform broader LATAM marketing team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with speakers, customers and universities.
  • Regularly meet key KOLs and influencers to understand unmet needs and current / potential use of digital tools and aligners in dental practices.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Education for region speaker’s development and engagement.
  • Create and control KPIs for all Education events.
  • Guarantee compliance standards in all doctors-facing activities, approve all assets with product manager and collaborate with Regulatory and Legal departments.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Orthodontia 6+ years of experience as orthodontist and / or ortho clinical education.
  • 4+ years of experience in content production environment, preferred in corporate education space.
  • 4+ years direct management experience, leading and developing teams, including people managers.
  • Proven track record of enabling teams to reach production and quality goals.
  • Active interest in adult learning theories and emerging approaches to online learning, including but not limited to, social networking, mobile learning, problem-based learning, and story-based learning.
  • Experience in instructional systems design, preferably in the context of corporate training, executive education, and / or professional development.
  • Preference for candidates certified and experienced as Invisalign doctor.
  • Soft skills : Strategic Thinker Highly Organized Action Oriented Takes initiative Results oriented Independent Task-oriented-Quick to respond Expert in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and overall computer and computer organizational skills.
  • Language Skills : Fluent in English plus local language (Spanish).
  • Some travel required, up to 25% of time.
