What will you do?

TheLead Financial Analystdrivesresults for the Johnson Controls ITFinanceorganization, in partnership with our Project Management organization to accurately reflect the financials for our projects executed by our Johnson Controls IT organization.The role willpartner withproject managementorganizationto partner onthe planning and control offinancialresults consistent with long-term businessobjectivesandexecute onthevision ofITFinance strategyprovided by the VP, IT Finance.

How will you do it?

• Consolidates, analyzes, and reviews monthly rolling forecasts and annual financial plansfor a specific area of IT projects within our portfolio
• Analyzes and reviews actual monthly financial performance.Ability torecognizeinconsistencies in financial data andinitiatesandmanagesthe appropriatecorrective action.Ensuresaccuracy of project financials in partnership with the Project & Portfolio Management team in ourERPtool
• Journal entriesfor corrections and proper coding
• Provides consultation for proper coding of costs in our ITfinancialsto ensure our projects are reflected correctly within our ERPtool
• Oversee project financial modeling,working to obtaininternal management capital appropriation request(CAR’s)approvals&supporting documentation
• Providesconsultationto the Project & Portfolioteam on how to manage ITfinancialprocesses
• Prepares and storytelling of financial presentationsfor the IT Finance & IT Senior Leadership teamcomprisingof actual results, forecasts to illustrate variances along with risks and opportunities
• Work closely with project managers on project go live dates andchanges to the project
• Capitalization of projects when the project hasgone live

• Bachelor's Degreerequiredin Accounting or Finance
• Advanced Excel skills arerequired(formulas, pivot tables, data tables)
• Ability to work inafast-pacedenvironmentin a constantly evolvingorganization
• Provenanalytical skills, researchcapabilitiesand overallfinancial& project managementacumenrequired
• Knowledge inSAP4Hanaand OneStream is preferred
• Excellent communications skills, inwritten and oral reports. Should have ability to listen effectivelyto executedeliverables
