A growing legal firm is looking for an Associate Corporate and Compliance Counsel to provide legal support in Mexico. The role includes responsibilities in corporate governance, compliance, and legal transactions. Ideal candidates will have a Juris Doctor or equivalent law degree, relevant legal experience, and be a member of the Mexico Bar. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on diverse legal matters in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• 1 to 2 years of relevant legal experience preferably in-house or a mix of in-house and law firm roles.
• Member in good standing of the Mexico Bar.

Responsabilidades

• Support corporate governance matters including subsidiary management and compliance with corporate policies.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations globally.
• Work cross-functionality to support legal and business objectives.
• Provide legal support for internal reorganizations and restructuring efforts.
• Assist in handling various corporate transactions.
• Support legal matters for the company’s subsidiary globally.
• Manage and protect the company’s trademark portfolio.
• Collaborate with teams across finance, HR, and compliance.
• Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies.
• Provide legal assistance for investor communications and regulatory disclosures.
• Support compliance with personal data protection laws.
• Advise on employment matters based on Mexico laws.
• Liaise with external counsel as needed.
