A leading toy manufacturer is looking for a skilled technician in Monterrey, Mexico, to ensure the quality of LEGO elements. In this role, you will evaluate product quality and contribute to a team focused on maintaining high standards. Ideal candidates should have a background in quality assurance and be fluent in English. The position is on-site at the LEGO manufacturing facility.

Be the guardian of the right quality level of the element coming out of Element and Moulds. The challenge is to balance the need for delivery and the level of quality, to be brave enough to reject although delivery are at stake, but also be open to have continuously calibration of the right quality levels.

Responsible and accountable for the final evaluation of the LEGO elements on all aspects (weight, measurements, function and visual) and have the mandate to reject or approve an element Be the ambassador of the right LEGO quality level. Make sure documentation is updated and ready to pass on to next step in the chain. Participate in escalations representing EMV Element Qualification. Support Element Qualification colleagues in daily operations on request (sparring with colleagues and helping sites colleagues) Take an active role in supporting the department strategic areas by understanding the need for change in a short-term. Be active in the department taking cross departmental tasks (eg LPP, LCI, participate in PPS).
Note: This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, NL. This is not a remote position.
