A logistics company in Mexico is looking for a candidate to ensure warehouse inventory accuracy and manage customs compliance. Responsibilities include conducting cycle counts, resolving inventory variances, and supporting audits. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics and at least 2 years of experience in inventory control. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP/WMS systems are required.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and meet deadlines.

Job Purpose

Ensure warehouse inventory accuracy, manage Engineering Order (EO) changes, and coordinate customs inventory discharge processes to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Accuracy & Control
  • Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock movements and update ERP/WMS systems accurately.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances promptly.
  • Coordinate inventory adjustments related to EO changes.
  • Communicate with production and planning teams to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Maintain documentation for EO-related inventory transactions.
  • Prepare and process customs documentation for inventory discharge.
  • Ensure compliance with local customs regulations and company policies.
  • Liaise with customs brokers and logistics providers for timely clearance.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Generate inventory accuracy reports and KPIs.
  • Support audits and provide required documentation.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance inventory control.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of EO change processes and customs compliance.
  • Proficient in ERP/WMS systems and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and meet deadlines.
