Descripción del empleo

We’re looking for a Founding Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll co-own the product vision, AI strategy, and define and implement engineering and product processes, support product development initiatives, collaborate with our CEO, designers and senior engineers, and grow your technical skills across the full stack. This is a great opportunity for someone highly technical with a creative heart, someone who wants to go beyond just code into the creative side of product ideation and design.

Tareas

• Co-own Musa’s product vision
• Define and own Musa’s AI strategy
• Define and execute engineering and product processes
• Lead and grow the engineering team
• Contribute to new feature ideation, development, testing, and bug fixes across our application.
• Participate in planning, code reviews, and daily ceremonies.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers and designers to implement user-facing features.
• Even though you’ll be a leader, you’ll get your hands dirty writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Learn and grow within our engineering culture, with support from mentors.
• Improve internal tools, workflows, and technical documentation.
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation, providing first-line support for technical issues during your assigned window (with guidance and backup available).

Requisitos

5+ years of experience in software engineering, with 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role.

• Bonus points if you have been a founder / entrepreneur in the past.
• Deep knowledge of software engineering best practices : testing, CI / CD, version control, architecture, and scalable systems.
• Track record of leading or contributing to cross-functional product teams —from brainstorming to delivery.
• Passion for user-centered product design , not just implementation.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, startup environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (C1 or above) and Spanish (B2 or above).
• Comfortable with remote collaboration and asynchronous work culture.
• Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and grow as a developer.
• Highly curious about testing AI tools and integrating AI to increase efficiency in your workflow.
• Deep passion for the mission of improving women’s health.
