As the Financial Planning & Analyst you will leverage your expertise on accounting and finance-related projects for the company and its clients. An ideal Financial Analyst is a positive, hands- on, self-driven, detail-oriented, and responsive person with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare monthly business reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets in partnership with the team and our clients. 
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic business decisions for us and our clients. 
  • Present recommendations to us and our clients regarding financial objectives and policies. 
  • Work on bookkeeping and reporting for us, including monthly bank and credit card reconciliations in QuickBooks online. 
  • Create standardized reporting packages for all clients. 
  • Train inexperienced staff as needed. 
  • Some administrative duties (e.g., emails and scheduling) as required. 
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business. 
  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience as a Financial Analyst. 
  • Excel financial modeling skills and experience. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. 
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel 
  • Ability to work and deal with people at various levels and of diverse backgrounds. 
  • Proactive and self-motivated; excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented and curious. 
  • Capable of working directly with our clients on their financial projects as required. 
  • Must own a newer model computer (2019 or newer) and have reliable internet access. 
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience using QuickBooks Online. 
  • Working knowledge of SAP Business One or other ERP systems. 
  • Familiarity with hourly timekeeping systems like Clockify.

Salary & Benefits

  • This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. 
  • The Financial Analyst will sign a contractor agreement and will be paid monthly in local currency ($R).
  • Work from home.
  • Monday through Friday, 8/9am to 5/6pm - PST.
