A leading global advisory company in Mexico City is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Analyst. In this role, you will manage complex datasets and enhance data management processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will have a background in financial services, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives within the Investments Operations team.

Formación

  • 2–5 years of experience in data operations within financial services.
  • Proven ability to resolve exceptions and data quality issues.
  • Familiar with financial instruments, valuations, and portfolio structures.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Operations Analyst to join our Investments Operations team. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with a strong background in financial services who is ready to take ownership of critical data processes and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain complex datasets across multiple platforms, including client onboarding, financial instruments, valuations, bank accounts, and portfolio structures, in line with governance standards.
  • Lead exception reporting and resolution tracking, ensuring timely closure of critical issues in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Enhance and document data management processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integrity, operational efficiency, and project delivery.
  • Respond to data extraction and reporting requests from internal stakeholders, ensuring high-quality and timely outputs.
  • Perform regular data quality checks and liaise with relevant SMEs to resolve discrepancies.
  • Build expertise in internal systems and tools, becoming a trusted resource for data-related matters.
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience in data operations, investment operations, or a related role within financial services.
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to resolve exceptions, complex datasets and resolve data quality issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills is mandatory.
  • Proven technical understanding of asset classes, security types, pricing, bank account, corporate action events, dividend processing etc is mandatory.
  • Familiar with IBOR platforms such as Simcorp Dimension, Aladdin or Bloomberg AIM etc. is a plus.
  • Undergraduate in Actuarial, Finances, Economics, Administrative or related.
