The successful candidate will undergo various training modules, lead financial functions, and ensure compliant financial operations while working in a multicultural environment. Formación

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in multinational companies or major auditing firms.

The successful candidate will enter the Regional trainee program, where for 12 - 18 months they will participate in various modules conducted in their home country and possibly other Latin American countries. Upon successful completion, the candidate will be considered a local manager and assigned as Finance Manager in their country of origin or where an opportunity exists.

DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTIONS OF POSITION

  • Serve in various financial functions such as Cost Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Compliance, Human Resources, and Corporate Reporting under IFRS standards.
  • Perform internal control activities to mitigate business risks.
  • Implement policies and procedures according to corporate and regional standards.
  • Conduct business analysis to determine profitability levels.
  • Prepare budgets and expense reduction plans.
  • Perform business analysis and month-end closing of financial statements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Finance Manager's primary responsibilities include overseeing daily finance and accounting operations, leading the local F&A team, ensuring efficient execution of activities, and liaising with business partners and operations. The role acts as a finance business partner and encompasses:

  • Financial Accounting and Reporting: Review and close management information system (MIS) reports timely, provide detailed analysis, and ensure compliance with local tax and statutory audits as well as IFRS for group audits.
  • Business Performance Review: Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare and analyze annual budgets and business plans, monitor performance against budgets, identify variances, and implement corrective actions. Review key business metrics monthly with business heads, providing insights and independent performance assessments. Focus on working capital, fixed capital productivity, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Risk Management, Compliance, and Assurance: Monitor business risks, develop control processes, ensure legal, tax, and statutory compliance, including transfer pricing regulations, and support legal and tax structuring for M&A transactions.
  • Systems and Processes: Improve existing processes and systems, enhance controls, and drive automation. Participate in organization-wide initiatives like cost management and accounting policies.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Willingness to travel nationally or internationally.
  • Flexibility to relocate or work in different cities and international mobility.
  • Interest in the food ingredients and agribusiness industry.

LANGUAGES: Advanced English (Required).

ACADEMIC LEVEL: University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. Master’s in Business Administration and Finance preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong understanding of finance functions, including tax, cost accounting, treasury, and audit.
  • 4 to 6 years of full-time experience in multinational companies, exporters, agricultural commodities, or major auditing firms, especially in roles related to taxes, costs, or treasury.
