Role Summary

The BioMarin Financial Development Program (FDP) will accelerate your growth as a finance and business leader. FDP participants complete two rotations over a 2-year period in various financial disciplines. In addition to on-the-job learning, participants also benefit from coaching, specialized training, and community engagement. The Financial Development Program (FDP) is a 24-month program consisting of two rotations, each spanning 12 months. Rotations may include roles focused on corporate finance, R&D finance, financial reporting, accounting, audit, treasury, and operations.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in two 12-month rotations across diverse financial disciplines.
  • Engage in on-the-job learning, coaching, specialized training, and community engagement.
  • Support corporate finance, R&D finance, financial reporting, accounting, audit, treasury, and operations activities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • Located in the San Francisco, CA, Bay Area, or willingness to relocate
  • Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours a week
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship
  • Students eligible for an OPT extension may apply

  • Motivated, organized and highly skilled with today's systems, applications, and platforms (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Independent worker and initiative-taker that enjoys problem solving and takes pride and accountability in their work-product
