Formación

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the actuarial area.
  • Statistical background is a plus.
  • Commitment to continued professional development in actuarial science.

About The Role

We are seeking an Actuarial Analyst to support the development and evaluation of rates and rating plans across designated lines of insurance. This role involves conducting actuarial analyses, preparing regulatory filings, and contributing to strategic decision‑making through data‑driven insights. You will also assist in reserve calculations, collaborate on special projects, and support the growth of junior actuarial staff.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and prepare actuarial analyses for rates and rating plans
  • Recommend changes based on analytical findings
  • Draft and manage regulatory filings, including follow‑ups on inquiries or challenges
  • Support the calculation of IBNR (incurred but not reported) loss reserves
  • Contribute to special actuarial projects as assigned
  • Assist in training and mentoring actuarial team members
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure alignment with business objectives
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the actuarial area
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or a related field
  • Experience with casualty and property insurance
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, VBA, and Power BI
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
