A leading engineering solutions company is seeking an Engineer for the Dry Gas Seal System role in Tlalnepantla, Estado de México. This position involves engineering standardization, CAD automation, and supporting both pre-order and post-order engineering. Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, have 4-8 years of related experience, and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in English and experience with CAD design software.

Formación

This position will report to Team Leader / Sr.

Engineer, Gas Seal Support Systems manufacturing locations assigned.

The primary focus of this position is Engineering standardization, CAD automation and Engineering tools.

In addition to the standardization, resource sharing for Pre-Order and Post Order Engineering during peak load and customized engineering as and when required.

Gas Seal Support Systems – Oil & Gas Filters for Turbo Machineries in Gas Compression, Power Generation and other process industries application.

Lube oil systems, Fuel Gas conditioning systems, Seal gas conditioning systems and Mechanical Seal support systems for Pumps and Compressors.

Duties & Responsibilities

Standardization of P&ID, Symbols & Schematic as 2D CAD libraries for Filtration and Mechanical Seal Support systems for Pumps and Compressors.

Prepare standard Engineering tools, work instructions, process flow charts and project charters for process improvements.

Assisting engineering design process from development of initial product concepts through detailed design, testing, BOM creation, production drawing / part number creation, implementation and ongoing technical product support.

Support the field organization in the development of training materials, technical papers and other technical product support.

Planning & coordination of all techno-commercial activities related to Filtration products & Gas Seal Support Systems.

Analysis of customer / project specifications.

Selection of Instrumentation / valves / Filters / fluid control system products and related ancillaries.

Filters / Seal Support System sizing for various applications.

Contacting Sub Vendors / COE's for Technical Clarifications and Best Cost.

Preparation of quotations and proposals for the products selected.

Creating processes and procedures, documentation and creating a knowledge bank.

P&ID, GAD and BOM.

Datasheets for all Instruments, Valves, Filters, Separators, Seal Gas Heaters, Seal Gas Boosters, Electrical and Instruments control modules etc.

Selection and sizing of the above components.

Instrument Hookups.

Electrical Wiring Diagram.

Logic Diagram.

Control Narratives.

Documentation Index for MDR / SDRL / VDRL.

Quality Plan / ITP.

Installation, Operation & Maintenance Manual.

Detailed Engineering Calculations.

Participating & managing Technical Review meeting with Customer / EPC / OEM.

Reviewing Suppliers Quote and technical alignment.

Compile complete engineering documents and deliver to manufacturing plants.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology and 4 to 8 years of related experience designing ASME pressure vessels in a manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with pressure vessel designs per ASME Section VIII, and IX.

Demonstrates the ability to complete complex projects on time and on budget.

Manages multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Possesses advanced problem solving and significant decision making abilities.

Intermediate / advanced English level required.

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.

Ability to effectively communicate clearly and effectively with peers, shop personnel, and customers, and with other departments.

Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

None required, however, any certifications regarding lean / continuous improvement preferred e.g., Six Sigma certification.

Advanced English level required.

Other Skills and Abilities

Requires experience with the following computer programs : MS Office products – primarily Outlook, Word, Excel.

Design software including Design Calcs or Compress, MathCAD, and / or 3D CAD SolidEdge is preferred.

Teamcenter knowledge is a plus.

ERP experience a Plus.
