A leading mobile phone firm in Mexico seeks an Ecommerce Specialist to manage operations for Mercado Libre stores. Responsibilities include product listing, pricing, inventory control, and relationship management with distributors. Candidates should have 2–3 years of experience in the Mercado Libre ecosystem, strong data analysis skills, and excellent communication abilities. Proficiency in English is mandatory, and a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Ecommerce Specialist Mobile Phone Industry
Responsible for the end-to-end operation of 1–2 Mercado Libre stores, including product listing, pricing, inventory control, campaign execution, and paid advertising. Continuously optimize traffic, conversion rate, and sales growth through data-driven decision making.
Maintain and manage relationships with mobile phone distributors / agents, coordinating supply, pricing policies, and joint marketing activities to ensure stable business performance and healthy channel development.
Explore and launch operations on new e-commerce platforms such as TikTok Shop, including market research, onboarding, product selection, logistics setup, and initial sales / marketing testing to validate growth potential.
Conduct regular data analysis, competitive research, and store performance reviews; generate weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights to support strategy planning and business decisions.
Solid understanding of Mercado Libre ecosystem, including platform rules, category management, advertising tools (ADS), customer experience metrics, SEO, and 1P / 3P operational models.
Familiarity with mobile phone and consumer electronics categories, including pricing structure, product life cycles, channel behavior, and key purchase drivers in the Mexico market.
Knowledge of cross-platform e-commerce operations in LATAM, including logistics models, after-sales processes, content commerce trends, and platform policies of TikTok Shop / Shopee / Amazon (preferred).
Strong data analysis skills, able to interpret sales trends, traffic structure, and advertising metrics such as CTR, CPM, CPC, and ACOS, and provide optimization recommendations based on numbers.
Excellent communication and cross-team coordination capabilities to work effectively with distributors, customer service, logistics partners, and internal marketing / sales teams.
Ability to independently build operational strategies, manage complex tasks, solve problems proactively, and adapt quickly to evolving platform policies and business needs.
