Job Summary

The Operations team supports the Americas Distribution Platform, acting as the link between LEGO stakeholders and outsourced logistics partners to ensure LEGO products are received, stored and shipped accurately and on time.

Core Responsibilities

• Utilize an end‑to‑end mindset to aid operations and proactively interact with 3PL partners, ensuring timely receipt and shipment of finished goods and marketing materials.
• Manage daily, weekly and monthly activities with 3PLs, including scheduled calls/meetings focused on planning, prioritization, troubleshooting and resolution.
• Oversee the import flow to Brazil and manage the Order Management Department.
• Interface globally with LEGO departments (US Distribution, Transport, Imports/Exports, LOM, 3PL Customs Brokers, Carriers) for the end‑to‑end import process into Brazil and Mexico Inbound.
• Lead and administer the Latin America logistics projects, including the setup of Distribution Centers from the ground up, with a focus on Mexico and Brazil.
• Lead 5 direct employees in Brazil and Mexico, plus outsourced employees at local Distribution Centers.
• Drive collaborative work sessions between Operations and the Markets to evaluate VAS activities through comprehensive cost/benefit analyses for value‑based decision making.
• Implement distribution operations initiatives in collaboration with external partners and LEGO stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of logistics and distribution experience in Latin America in a management role.
• Excellent written and oral communication, with strong collaboration and leadership skills.
• Process‑focused, strategic thinker with an end‑to‑end perspective across the value chain.
• Strong presentation and data analysis skills; experience managing operations budgets and contracts.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for multiple days or nights.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable, Portuguese is a plus.

Location & Travel

Position based at LEGO Operaciones de México Sales Office, Mexico City. Minimum 3 days per week are required in the office. Travel to domestic and international locations is expected.
