A logistics solutions provider based in Monterrey is seeking a Director of Business Development to foster relationships with Fortune 500 companies and design supply chain solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in logistics sales, particularly in contract warehousing, along with strong analytical and communication skills. This role includes traveling up to 50% and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Currently we are seeking a highly motivated Director of Business Development to foster and develop business relationships on a local, national, and international level for our Value-Add division of the company. We have positioned ourselves as a Top 3PL Provider , and are looking to build upon our success and penetrate new market growth throughout Mexico.

This position will be domiciled out of one of our facility locations in the Monterrey, MX.

Candidate Requirements
  • 5-7 years minimum experience in value added or dedicated logistics sales preferably contract warehousing
  • Knowledge and selling experience of different transportation offerings
  • Experience conducting business with “C” level executives
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • A high degree of motivation and drive
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills, as well as a strong attention to detail
  • Strong growth and sales orientation
  • Ability to multitask
  • A competitive and career oriented mindset
  • Sales experience in the automotive industry
Responsibilities
  • Prospecting, researching, and developing relationships with Fortune 500 type companies on a regional level
  • Assisting with the design of supply chain solutions for potential business clients
  • Conducting sales calls and sales presentations to potential business clients
  • Entertaining current and prospective business clients
  • Ultimately securing new business as well as fostering current accounts
  • Ability to travel up to 50% a must!
