A leading automotive firm seeks a Director of HR Shared Services in Mexico. This role involves overseeing HR operations, driving strategic initiatives, and optimizing processes to enhance employee experience. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and extensive HR leadership experience, along with certifications like CHRP or SPHR. This position is not fully remote and requires a commitment to operational excellence and team development.

Formación

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior HR Shared Services leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and legal requirements.
  • Preferred certifications: CHRP, SPHR, PHR.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop and implement strategic vision for HR Shared Services in Mexico.
  • Oversee HRSS activities including employee data management and benefits administration.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a large team (100+ employees).
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives in HR processes.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and COEs to address HR matters.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and consultants.
  • Utilize HRSS metrics to monitor performance and provide insights.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior HR Shared Services leadership role, preferably within a multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and legal requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic vision for HR Shared Services in Mexico, ensuring alignment with global HR strategies and local legal requirements.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the full spectrum of HRSS activities, including employee data management, benefits administration, onboarding/offboarding, and HR program execution, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a large team (100+ employees), fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture and managing all talent management aspects.
  • Process Optimization & Automation: Champion continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing innovative technology-driven solutions to enhance HR processes and the overall employee experience.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and other departments to address complex HR matters and ensure integrated, systemic resolutions.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to legal requirements, company policies, and global HR standards, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants, ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Performance Monitoring: Utilize key HRSS metrics (e.g., first contact resolution, SLA compliance) to monitor performance, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights to COEs for systemic improvements.
