A global engineering group is seeking a talented individual to design and release new automotive products. The role involves collaborating across teams to maximize vehicle design efficiency and participate in product launching phases. Key qualifications include experience with automotive closures and expertise in CAD software. Strong English language skills are also required. This exciting opportunity is located in Mexico, Ciudad de México.

Formación

• Experience in one or more of the following Closures.
• Demonstrated skills in operating NX CAD Software.
• Ability to analyze existing designs and develop new alternatives.

Responsabilidades

• Design, validate, and release new automotive products targeted at North America.
• Work with cross-functional teams to launch new products.
• Track regional results by subsystem and manage implementation gates.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design, validate and release new automotive products and projects, regarding your perimeter/sub-system, focused on the North America region.
• Working with the engineering team, suppliers, vehicle integration, purchasing, quality, finance and other cross-functional teams, study feasibility and execute changes to launch new products according to quality or customer experience.
• Tracking regional results by your subsystem/commodity and controlling the implementation gates and roadblocks.
• Interacting globally with other regional counterparts in efforts aimed at maximizing vehicle design efficiency according to quality, cost, and functional targets.
• Support 3D and 2D development for new components
• Support Product Launching phases with prototype or serial component development and validation.
• Bill of Material development and management.

Qualifications

• Experience in one or more of the following Closures.
• Expertise in Team Center, NX CAD Software & Vis Mockup with demonstrated skills to:
• Develop new corporate preproduction and manage production CAD data structures.
• Position and manipulate models, cut sections, analyze existing designs.
• Create and analyze alternative designs and integrate systems and components.
