ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advanced Data Analysis: Conduct complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within supply chain operations, enabling data‑driven decision‑making to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Establish and maintain robust data validation processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency across multiple systems and platforms. (30%)
- Design Dashboards and Reports: Develop sophisticated, dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI, OTBI, and SAP Business Objects, incorporating interactive drilldowns, custom filters, and user‑friendly interfaces tailored to business needs such as S&OP Dashboards and Capacity Assessment. Maintain reports that align with internal customer needs, including planning, sourcing, and KPM analysis, while optimizing performance tracking through data visualization. (30%)
- Automation and Optimization: Automate recurring reports and workflows using Power Automate, Power BI, and other automation tools to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort. Lead and contribute to AI‑driven projects, machine learning model development, and statistical analysis initiatives to improve decision‑making and predictive capabilities. Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement while providing guidance and training on report automation best practices. (30%)
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams to deliver strategic insights and BI solutions by gathering and interpreting stakeholder requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Mentor entry‑level Data Analysts by providing training in data preparation, tool utilization, and report development best practices. Contribute to projects involving statistical analysis and predictive modeling to support data‑driven decision‑making. Collaborate with analysts to validate datasets, develop advanced analytical solutions, and address complex business challenges while assisting internal clients with tailored solutions and ad‑hoc analyses. (10%)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required Degree: Bachelor’s degree OR an equivalent combination of education, training, experience, and certifications sufficient to achieve position expectations required. (or local country equivalent education). Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
- Business Administration/ Intl. Business: Strong foundation in business processes, useful for understanding supply chain dynamics.
- Industrial Engineering: Provides knowledge in process optimization and supply chain fundamentals. Solid foundation in technical skills, beneficial for working with data systems. Emphasis on analytics, modeling and optimization in a supply chain context.
- Data Science/Analytics: Focus on data preparation, data transformation, and integration. Also, extracting insights from data, predictive analytics and statistical modeling.
Certificate(s): Data analytics or predictive modeling can be advantageous. (Optional) Certifications in tools like Power BI, SQL, Python can be beneficial. Preferred
Experience
- 4-5 years Experience in supply chain function or related field required
- Proven experience or coursework with data visualization, automation, ETL tools, data management, SQL/database systems and dashboard design required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY
- Oracle knowledge
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as PowerBI, OTBI, BO.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools such as advanced excel.
- Desired knowledge in statistical analysis software, and Python. (Optional)
