A technology services company is looking for a Controls Engineer in Mexico, Estado de México. This role involves developing control systems, validating software and equipment, and providing technical support for PLC installations. The ideal candidate will have experience in debugging, cost estimation, and working closely with OEMs to ensure proper functionality of systems. Support for production operations to minimize downtime is also a key responsibility.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and design control system; develop and implement bench tests.
• Validate/alters software and equipment to ensure sensors and actuators function as specified.
• Support and debug complex problems and change requests.
• Develop and prepare cost estimations and compile equipment information.
• Investigate problems and project requirements, developing plans for solutions.
• Develop/validate installation and technical support for PLC based hardware/software.
• Verify and define controls system specifications and collaborate with OEMs.
• Create detailed controls system design reviews and follow up on approvals.
• Develop installation/startup, modify PLCs, and troubleshoot with OEMs.
• Run verification and control specifications with handshaking.
• Support production operations by addressing breakdowns to assist maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develops and designs control system; develop and implements bench test.
• Validate / Alters software and equipment to ensure that sensors and actuators are functioning according to specifications.
• Supports and debugs complex problems and change requests.
• Develop and prepare cost estimation; compile required cost and equipment information and write and review appropriation requests.
• Investigate problems and requirements of projects, and develop plans for solutions in line with economic, personnel, and environmental considerations.
• Develop / validate for the installation and technical support of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based hardware and software.
• Verify and define clear controls system specifications and work with OEMs.
• Create detailed controls system design review and follow approvals.
• Develop, installation / startup, modify -PLC, handshaking verification and troubleshooting with OEMs.
• Runoff verification (CPES requirements and controls verification (handshaking / CMES / Integration).
• Support the production operation by providing responses to breakdowns to assist maintenance with related controls systems to minimize equipment downtime.
