A leading logistics technology firm located in Mexico is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Manager to oversee cloud operations and migrations. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years in CloudOps with Azure expertise, strong leadership skills, and experience in scripting and automation. This role offers a dynamic environment for innovation and collaboration, focusing on enhancing efficiency in the cargo industry.

Formación

• 5+ years in CloudOps/SRE, Platform Engineering with Azure expertise.
• Proven leadership in guiding teams through technical challenges.
• Experience with IaC and DevOps tools.
• Strong scripting skills and cloud observability knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and migrations.
• Optimize Azure Service Fabric and manage networking.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code.
• Design high-availability systems with disaster recovery.
• Automate health checks and scaling.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance.
• Lead incident resolution and cloud strategy collaboration.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.

About the role

• The ideal candidate is an experienced and dynamic leader with a proven track record in cloud infrastructure management and team leadership. You are someone who thrives in driving technical excellence while mentoring and guiding teams toward success. With strong expertise in Azure, you excel in building scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions. Your ability to collaborate across teams and influence cloud strategies will help achieve both operational and business goals.

What you'll do

• Architect and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and migrations.
• Optimize Azure Service Fabric, APIM, and manage networking, storage, and compute.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep).
• Design high-availability systems with disaster recovery; optimize for cost and security.
• Automate health checks, scaling, and self-healing using PowerShell, YAML, Python.
• Ensure security best practices (IAM, network security), and compliance (SOC2, CCPA/GDPR).
• Lead incident resolution, cloud strategy collaboration, and cross-functional team coordination.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering growth and promoting best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in CloudOps/SRE, Platform Engineering, with Azure expertise.
• Proven leadership in guiding teams through technical challenges and fostering collaboration.
• Experience with Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform/ARM Templates), and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub).
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python), and cloud observability (Azure Monitor, ELK, DataDog).
• Knowledge of API security, WAF, Zero Trust, and Azure networking (VNETs, Load Balancers).
