Location: 100% Remote (Global)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, U.S. business hours (flexible based on prospect market)
Salary: $2,000/month base + performance bonuses

Position Summary

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for executing multi‑channel prospecting campaigns to generate and qualify new client opportunities. Assigned to a specific franchisor prospect list, your goal will be to exhaust that list through outbound communication (calls, emails, texts, LinkedIn) and deliver consistent qualified leads for ScaleSource.

This is a performance‑driven role in a fast‑moving environment with clear benchmarks and accountability. Successful BDRs will consistently hit and exceed monthly lead targets, directly impacting both company growth and their own earning potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute outbound campaigns (calls, emails, texts, LinkedIn) to a targeted list of franchisor prospects.
  • Conduct discovery calls to assess fit and qualify client interest.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach and pipeline activity in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with leadership to optimize outreach messaging and strategy.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly lead generation goals.
Performance Expectations

This is a high‑accountability role with strict monthly targets:

  • Month 1: 2 qualified leads (non‑negotiable – failure to meet this target will result in termination).
  • Month 2: 3 qualified leads.
  • Month 3 and beyond: 4 qualified leads per month.
Compensation & Bonus Structure
  • Base Salary: $2,000/month.
  • Performance Bonus: $500 per qualified lead beyond the monthly target.
  • Bonus eligibility and payment terms:
    • Bonus eligibility begins after landing your first 6 qualified leads.
    • Bonuses are paid out 2 months after the lead is landed, contingent on client retention.

  • 1+ year of experience in outbound sales, cold outreach, or lead generation (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Confidence in high‑volume outreach and objection handling.
  • Self‑motivated, accountable, and results‑oriented.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and LinkedIn prospecting tools.
