Engage with the POAE Plant SQE on risks and containment during launch. Manage program changes with suppliers 6 months after SOP. Ensure on-time PPAP, APQP, supplier ppm, and green (non-event) launches.

1.0 Supplier Selection and Strategy

Contribute to the selection of new suppliers and define commodity strategy. Conduct feasibility assessments with potential suppliers prior to nomination, collecting technical data and drawings with the Engineering Program Manager (EPM). Communicate with suppliers to ensure feasibility commitments are met. Support the nomination process before the sourcing committee.

2.0 APQP / PPAP Process Management

Analyze first off-tool parts and track part history. Enforce convergence on critical and significant characteristics, ensuring OEM and project SCs and CCs are incorporated into supplier FMEAs and control plans.

Monitor mountability and packaging validation, lead Run@Rate activities at supplier facilities, confirm capacity and capability, and conduct process audits as needed.
