ALTEN Calsoft Labs seeks candidates experienced in Android framework development for Automotive applications. The role demands a strong background in Android architecture and programming in Kotlin and Java, with emphasis on Infotainment systems. Ideal candidates will have debugging skills and specific knowledge of vehicle interfaces and application development.

Formación

• Good understanding of Android architecture, preferably Android-O or later.
• Experience in Android code base at the application layer (Java/Kotlin).
• Preferably expertise in Vehicle Interface & knowledge on Infotainment systems.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot problems in any Android layer using debugging skills.
• Develop applications for Android Infotainment systems covering navigation and connectivity.
• Utilize knowledge in IPC mechanisms and Shared memory.

Job Description

Need candidates who work on Android framework/AOSP/IVI/Automotive development but no android app developers.

Job Description:

Good understanding of Android architecture, Application (HMI) and Framework (preferably Android-O or later)
Experience in Android code base - Application layer (Java / Kotlin).
Good understanding of Android programming environment using Binders, Shared memory, IPC mechanisms, etc.
Debugging skills to troubleshoot problems in any layer of Android
Good knowledge in Android Services/Framework layer and its debugging
Programming experience in Kotlin and Java
Preferably expertise in Vehicle Interface & knowledge on Infotainment systems
Preferably understanding of Automotive SoC architecture(application processor and Vehicle processor)
Preferably Application development for Android Infotainment systems covering following areas - Navigation, Connectivity (WiFi, BT), Projection (Android Auto, Carplay)
Tools: GIT & Gerrit, JIRA, Android source build system, Android debugging tools
