About the Role

We are seeking a mid-level AI Software Engineer / Data Scientist to join our expanding AI development team driving integral generative AI initiatives. This role focuses on applied AI engineering — building real-world automation, data integration, and scalable AI solutions that impact enterprise operations worldwide.

This is not a research role — we're looking for someone passionate about engineering reliable, production-grade AI applications that deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain generative AI-enabled applications integrated with enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain automation pipelines, APIs, and middleware connecting AI platforms and data sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders — to implement scalable, production-ready AI tools.
• Utilize cloud-based environments (Snowflake, AWS, GCP) for development and deployment.
• Build and optimize backend systems using Python, SQL, and containerization tools like Docker.
• Stay current with emerging AI frameworks, tools, and best practices to support evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in software engineering or applied AI development.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and backend data management.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS, or GCP) and Docker.
• Understanding of generative AI applications, APIs, and prompt engineering concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across distributed teams.

Nice to Have

• Bilingual English / Spanish or Portuguese (preferred for LATAM collaboration).
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques such as classification, NLP, or time series analysis.
