We are looking for an outstanding Adoption Engineer to join our team of super heroes. You will have the opportunity to be the customer interface of an exciting new technology. The Adoption Engineer is a member of the ThousandEyes Systems Engineering team tasked with optimizing adoption and utilization through best practice recommendations. The Adoption Engineer, working in tandem with the Customer Success Specialist, will serve as a post‑sale technical consultant throughout the customer lifecycle. This role is accountable for ensuring the success of ThousandEyes customers, the execution of adoption‑driven playbooks, product trainings, and customer roadmaps.
Proactively reach out to customers to build and maintain a trusted advisor relationship and develop technical champions
Collaborate with the Customer Success Specialist and Sales team on account strategy
Identify customer strategic initiatives and potential use cases
Engage with customers to drive adoption through best practice recommendations and increase the value ThousandEyes delivers to their business
Actively identify new and expansion opportunities
Share customer feedback and enhancement requests with the Product team
Deliver product update sessions highlighting new capabilities that have been released
3+ years of Technical Support, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services or similar technical customer facing roles
Strong desire to learn and ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
Knowledge of network infrastructures, cloud technologies and application frameworks
Superb communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills in English and one of the Iberian languages (Portuguese or Spanish)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, JavaScript)
Additional European languages
