Role

We are currently seeking a talented 3D Scanning Specialist Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in utilizing advanced 3D scanning technologies to support engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the design and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Configure and operate 3D scanning equipment to capture complex geometries of components and assemblies.
• Utilize ScanBox systems to perform high-precision measurements of metal and plastic parts.
• Process and generate digital meshes from captured data, ensuring quality and fidelity of 3D representations.
• Collaborate with quality and manufacturing teams to implement adjustments based on scanning results.
• Create technical reports that include dimensional analysis and relevant scanning findings.
• Document scanning and data processing procedures to ensure traceability of results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metrology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience operating ScanBox systems.
• Proven experience using 3D scanning equipment.
• Advanced proficiency in tools for 3D mesh generation and editing.
• Familiarity with quality standards and dimensional inspection processes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality assurance practices is a plus.
